U10’s wearing poppies with pride
Our U10’s will be proudly wearing their poppies for their game over the remembrance weekend to show our thanks to those who have given their lives for our safety.
The poppies are ironed onto the playing shirt and can be reused on other garments afterwards. For more information, or you would like to get your own poppies, take a look at the following website; www.poppies4kits.co.uk.
This year we will have the ‘standard’ red poppy, and after last years very successful ‘1914-2014 dated’ poppy, it has been agreed with The Royal British Legion that we should continue with this by making this years poppy 1915-2015, Both of these poppies will raise essential funds for the Legion, enabling them to uphold the memory of the fallen and support the future of the living.
We will have a donation bucket if anyone would like to make a donation to the British Legion.
