Harraby 3G open from Sat 24th Oct

We received this from the Longhorn Youth League, please read and inform all in your team:

We are pleased to inform you that the CGLYFL have been granted restricted access to Harraby 3G commencing on Saturday 24th October.

Toilets will be available, but unfortunately the changing rooms will not be accessible currently, so please ensure that all players (and referees where required) arrive ready for their match. We will inform Clubs when changing rooms become available:

  • U9 and U10 Fixtures until everyone has played each other once.
  • U7 & U8 until 1st November
  • U10, U12 and U14 Girls until 8th November are now on the full-time website.

Please inform Managers whether they are the home or the away team, that it is imperative that the kick off times displayed are adhered to.
Due to some leagues having an odd number of teams, there maybe on occasion, spare slots, any teams wishing to make use of these slots (a charge may incur) please make requests to the League secretary through your club secretary initially.

Thank you for your continued co-operation in this matter.

Pirelli JFC pay tribute to Rhya

This weekend saw clubs from around the country come together to show respect to the bravery of Rhya Story who sadly died of a brain tumor on 11th October. Our youth teams joined together in a minutes round of applause to celebrate her life and to raise awareness of her illness.

Our guests, Abbeytown & Gillford Park, also took part during a very well respected and loud remembrance of Rhya.

Take a look at the video of our applause from the day.
